The FMB is governed by members for members. The FMB has one national Board, which is supported by 11 Area Boards and a Senior Management Team. The Managing Board and Area Boards are comprised of elected members who provide input to help shape the future direction and activities of the FMB.

National Board

The FMB’s national Board is made up of 14 elected member representatives from the eight English regions and three home nations. The FMB Board meets XX times per year and is legally responsible for the overall governance of the FMB, including making decisions on how the FMB is run. Area Boards

Area Boards are comprised of 14 elected members and up to two co-opted members within the region. Area Board members meet regularly to share their experiences and observations of the building sector at a local level, and to make recommendations on how the FMB can best support members. The FMB has 11 Area Boards including:

Senior Management Team
